What challenge/ problem did the client come with?

Our client was scammed by the people he was buying a company from. The fraud consisted of presenting him with falsified financial data, according to which the company achieved higher revenues and higher profits than in reality.

What actions have we proposed and carried out?

Our work led to the disclosure of the mechanism of fraud (generating non-existent revenues) and pointed out all the places where the data presented to our client was manipulated. Thanks to our evidence and support in arbitration proceedings– our client recovered half of the purchase price paid for the company to the fraudulent vendors.
