I am not a financier. Will I be able to change the assumptions in the model myself?

Many of our clients are not professional financiers often their knowledge in this area is limited to the analyses of reports prepared by accounting services. When you work with us, you do not need to know the finances. The result of our work will be a widely parameterized file, allowing you to run any simulations. Thanks to appropriate security features the file will be resistant to possible “damages” of formulas or data feeds. Properly prepared descriptions of individual sections of the cockpit prepared in this way will ensure intuitiveness and convenience of use.

What kind of valuations do you carry out?

Our clients entrust us with valuations of entire enterprises, organized parts of enterprises (e.g., manufacturing plants), intangible assets (e.g., brand value valuation), information systems, financial instruments, loans or share-based payments.

Where do you get the data necessary to carry out a valuation?

In addition to internal data obtained within the Customer's organization, we reach for external data available on the market. We make use of access to terminals and services offering current market data necessary to perform reliable valuations. We work on the same sources (eg. Bloomberg, Refinitiv) as the largest global consulting companies on a daily basis. We know how to effectively filter out the really needed and valuable data. Most of our team has worked for many years in the above-mentioned organizations.

Do you perform valuations for regulatory purposes?

Of course. We conduct quarterly valuations for investment funds, valuations in relation to impairment testing, valuations in capital group restructuring processes.

What valuation method do you use?

Valuations are always carried out using a few selected methods. This approach significantly increases their objectivity and makes them difficult to challenge. In our practice we use such methods as: replacement cost method, adjusted net asset method, multiple method and income methods (model NPV or real options). We decide which of the methods to choose after initial familiarisation with the characteristics of the valued entity or asset.

In which companies/industries have you conducted Due Diligence?

We’ve had the opportunity to provide services related to pre-investment assessment (due diligence/vendor due diligence) across a variety of industries. We have served, among others, companies from the food, food processing, advertising, e-commerce, woodworking, textile and telemedicine industries. Our clients have been companies building wind farms, logistics companies property management companies, brokerage houses, pharmacy chains and more.

Do you use VDR systems (Virtual Data Room)?

When handling transactions, we use proven VDR solutions from leading suppliers. In that way we ensure data security, minimize costs, together with an efficient process on all sides.

Do you assist in acquisition and acquisition transactions in other countries?

Can you find a technology start-up for us to acquire?

Sure. We provide a service called: “target screening”, under which we analyse the market environment in order to find potential targets of the acquisition transaction. Before starting the search, together with the client, we develop consistent assumptions and recommendations.

Does due diligence cover only the financial side or does it also extend to the legal issues?

Our activity focuses on finance. However in case our client requires a broader assistance, in legal matters, we cooperate with proven, specialized law firms.

Can you help to develop an offer to purchase shares/stock?

What would the process of document and information flow between our company and GF look like?

We have created from scratch entire accounting, document circulation and cash trading procedures allowing for full automation. It is enough for the customer to send us scans or electronic versions of documents. This solution allows for very fast, automatic accounting.

What are your services supporting key management decisions in the company?

As Ground Frost, we provide services strictly referred to as management accounting. These include, among others, the registration of transactions cost centres and reporting transactions according to the set criteria. At the customer's request, we monitor the level of costs in relation to budget assumptions, we support budgeting and financial planning processes. What is important, having all the necessary data in our own system we can to a large extent automate some control processes and make available to the management of the cockpits to facilitate both operational and strategic decisions.

Do you work on the systems of your Clients?

Yes. Entrusting us with their business our customers often wish to keep their current accounting system. In such cases, our employees are given access to this system and the accounting takes place directly therein.

Do you prepare CIT, VAT, PIT returns?

Certainly. We prepare CIT, VAT, ZUS (social security) returns and take over all activities connected with regulatory reporting.

How do you prepare the month's closing?

The process of closing the month is carried out in communication with the client, in order to determine the correct determine the correct reserve levels, accrued expenses, etc.
